Developing a new business machine course and curriculum at the Borough of Manhattan Community College; Introducing the VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) IRS program to Long Island University-Brooklyn campus; Founding the Center for Accounting and Tax Education, which brings continuing professional education to practicing accountants and now also offers continuing law education to attorneys; Developing articulation agreements with Borough of Manhattan Community College, Kingsboro Community College and New York Technical Community College; Developing 150 hour BS/MS Accounting program for the Long Island University-Brooklyn campus, which is approved by education department of New York state, in preparation for the Certified Public Accountant exam; Assisting the C.W. Post campus and the Southampton campus in developing their 150-hour BS/MS accounting programs, which are also approved by the education department of New York state, in preparation for the Certified Public Accountant exam; Creating the Myrna L.
