Achievements:
Dr. Basquin greatest career achievements was getting her PhD in 2009. She had a eye problem and could not read until she was in the third grade.

In addition, singing under Nadia Borscht, the famous French teacher, when she was in college while she was the VP of the glee club. It was a high point in her life.

Furthermore, having children and three grand children. Her grand daughter, 13, sees Dr. Basquin as a role model. She sings, does backward flips, in advanced math, writes beautifully, and is terribly talented. So Dr. Basquin is touched that her grand daughter considers her to be a role model by her grand daughter.
