Received grants regarding chick development, electric and magnetic fields in chicks, and diseases and parasites in mollusks; Developed syllabuses and taught 12 poultry and two aquaculture courses; Major professor or department advisor of many students; Established the Aquaculture Merit Scholarship and the Hope Lodge Masonic Scholarship at U.R.I.; Established and funded for the perpetual care of a Heritage Flock of Rhode Island Red Fowl at the South County Museum; Developed two historical narratives about southern Rhode Island which are presented free upon request and have been offered three to five times yearly since 1996.
