Dr. León-Rovira was the first Latin American expert certified in TRIZ in 1996 by Ideation International Inc. as “Train the Trainers” (1996); Experimental research of pneumatic separation processes of sugarcane impurities into integral mechanical harvesters; Development of a new transport principle and pneumatic separation of impurities from sugar cane in integral mechanical harvesters; FEM Analysis of truck and body chassis; FEM Analysis of the design of a plastic box for beers; Redesign of a railway braking beam (ACERTEK); Redesign of 1.5- and 2-liter soda box (Mexican Technical Plastics); Trained and advised more than 3000 engineers, technicians, and managers on the implementation of TRIZ and QFD from numerous Mexican companies and several countries, including Latin America (Chile, Peru, Colombia, Venezuela, Panama), Europe (France and Germany), and China; Delivered courses in QFD, TRIZ and DFMA for more than 100 enterprises in Mexico and other Latin American and European countries such as Columbia, Chile, Peru, Panama, Germany and France
